    Like i said it would be nice for more specific specialties and roles, the problem is though is the 18 pt ally with 20 jobs, there is too much fighting already for game balance to get into those spots.

    even worse when you're talking about 1-4 man.

    all those roles exist already in thier own way, it is just not specific to yours though. thats what i mean by role not job

    The idea that sparked Berserker was a DD subjob similar to how SCH works with mages (generally making spells better and cast faster). Enchanter was born because I love pet jobs, and we only use arcana for being mad at on magic aggro and quick self-destruct exp. Guardian was born from how THF controls emnity directly, I thought a job whose entire focus was that would be a great tank. Mostly, it would be a great tanking subjob to replace WAR. Most of these are very specialized versions of currently used roles. If that's no good, then that's no good.
