Favorite old party spots?

I was surprised when I took a party to the Yuhtunga Jungle Outpost to level up on goblins, and they had no idea that the goblins there produced such great exp. That's one of my most favorite camp spots when I leveled a lot of my jobs 27-30 back in the early years, and they thought it was only good for FoV Opo-opo bashing.

Is exp in the old camps better since update? I miss bird camps and citedel camps :/

In Yuhtunga, starting the level sync at 27 with bomb dropping and Barfira, I was looking at 300-600 xp per kill. Wasn't keeping track of per hour. But the party was still too low to leech, and they stuck around. So it must've been impressive enough.

Couldn't tell ya about Garlaige Citadel. I partied there recently, but it was before the update.

Dunes XD XD XD...remember it was the breeding ground for n00bville. Death and destruction galore! And I was very fond of Maze of Shakhrami. I remember taking my very first character in there to 16 for the first time and hearing about sub jobs lol.

The Maze is still my favorite, i took most jobs to 25 from in there skipping the dunes and qufim lol

This brought a tear to my eye. This was the place I met 4 of my greatest friend in game back in 2002 or 2003 (whenever NA release was) and we still keep in touch outside of FFXI. Great place to level in the maze. Quicksand caves, Jungle, and the Tree were my favorite places to level back in the day. Great memories.
