BLU can solo all of the mobs in valkurm utilizing the plague effect from delta thrust, then just zerg them down while terror'd. They will never use any tp moves if you know what you're doing. I really don't see what the problem is, besides poor job choice. There are three other zones as well.
And cacti use 2k, 4k, and 10k needles, so you're dead, taru or not.
2-10k needls was fun when u had an alliance+ doing dynamis. but this isnt the case cept for certain situations like ADL ect. when they made it much more lowmanable they should have made adjustments and Saevel i see no where that OP said i dont want others to be able to do dyna, but me. Its change mob mechanics to better suit people spreading the eff out throughout the zone, but some people hear what they want to hear so what ever floats your boat man.
I dont know why everyone goes to valkurm, the best by far imo is qufim since TE are so fast to get. valkurm sucks k, go somewhere else. there are 2-3 JA only camps in Beaucedine and Xarcabard too, and you don't have to move.
Stop thinking you can solo the entire zone- 2000 Needles splits damage between all hit targets, just like 1000 Needles. Alternatively, gear up for it. By 75+, gear compensating for racials shouldn't be all that rough- even for max HP.
See above. All you need is someone else able to remove the status who knows enough to stand back.2. Fly trap's Sporific does not wear off when you get hit. Who's bright idea was this?
....and I bet you were one of those guys who kept eating expensive food in colibri parties back when ToAU exp was considered top-tier.3. Nihility Song dispels food, this is a stupid affect when you are asked to spam monsters like this
It'd be amazing how well people would do if they'd pair up, eh?These very simple problems are causing huge congestion is Dynamis Valkurm
Old-time player, new-time character- Ragnarok server.
Nightmare mobs in cop areas are usually alot easier than 2 houring beastman in glacier or xarc or any city really. also i cant be sure but i think the beastmen tend to hit a bit harder than nightmare mobs? i know bst dont usually worry bout gettin hit but other jobs do. lol plus the lazy people dont have to remember what jobs all the mob names mean.
Really Dyna needs fixed in general. Magic procs need a boost in proc rate, as no job can effectively do them, I Dyna as RDM and I find myself getting more currency fighting with 5 BSTs at Hippos than I do fighting Trees for magic procs because the rate is that much worse than JA. Mobs need to be close to one another if they are the same proc type, some mobs in some areas are far to spread out, it makes it so that people never fight some types. TP attacks need adjusted for some mobs, such as Sheep and Flytraps which use Hyper Sleepga, preventing solos. Cactaurs need adjusted on how many needles they use so that it can not easily 1 shot any solo job. These are all problems that make Dyna as crowded as it is, there are many mobs that are almost never actually fought because they are to far out of the way or they simply use attacks that require groups which lowers your overall gain.
Saying people want these kinds of changes because they are all thinking "MOAR MONIES! >:O" are wrong, some people are thinking that and they are fools, if anything it would result in less money. I want these changes because through making my Excalibur and farming now for an Aegis, I occasionally get very stressed and annoyed inside of Dynamis because of claim wars, congestion, mob stealing, and wasting time standing around doing nothing because no mobs are up thanks to limited options of what to fight. The game should be fun and entertaining, not stressful, while some people think its bad to make a profitable thing fun, I disagree, but even if its not fun, it should not be filled with stress or anger ever, no event really should be. That is not to say the game should be easy, but I do not think people should be getting angry at the game because people are out claiming them on mobs for over 10 minutes, leaving them to feel as though they are wasting their time.
the biggest issue is the procs, period. since JA works so much better than the others that's where you will find the soloers. and in fact you'll be lucky to find any non melee jobs /dnc at all. I've especially never understood the argument against magic procs. yes, you can spam spells faster than ja. now, with the exception of blu and nin look who you have spamming spells. you may notice a theme of jobs that take a hit about as well as Lindsey Lohan takes a sobriety test; yes, I know pld and drk, but both have limited MP pools so it's not that much of an issue, and even nin it's pretty hard on the wallet to spam magic.
Honestly, the most positive change they could do is to adjust procs to open up the other 2/3 of the mobs. The fact that player X can come rdm to solo again would just be a bonus. Wait, it would make rdm a viable job choice, I'm wasting my time, forget I said anything...
