    [Suggestion] - Reworked Chat Filters

    Is there any news on having the chat filter system reworked? As it stands, the system is far too general. I hadn't bothered with adjusting my chat filters in ages, so I forgot how much of a mess the system is, but today doing Akvan, I decided I'd filter my allies' actions so that I could better see when/what Akvan was casting so I could throw in a stun. But that just resulted in my not seeing any of his spells/TP moves unless they were directed at me or were self-buffs.

    Break apart some of these categories! I don't care what WS's my allies are using, they only use one or two and I can identify it by sight and sound if I cared to. But the price for filtering that should not be the loss of important battle information, such as whether an NM is casting a harmless single-target or an AoE that's going to wreck my party.

    I agree, you either get so much spam that finding the action you are looking for can be a real pain or you get nothing at all and miss the important bits anyway.

    Keep in mind that with the new UI, in theory, we'll be able to have multiple chat boxes (well, at least 2 were mentioned if I recall).
    Supposing they didn't change their mind and this is still happening, I assume we'll be able to select in which window we want to put which messages, which suggests they have probably completely reworked the chat filters section (YAI!)

    What should really be coming is the ability to change the font size, imho. Being able to reduce it a bit would allow for more stuff to be displayed on screen.
    And I also wish they will allow additional customization in the text colours section. Very useful imho but often overlooked.

    Fifty Million likes to retooling the chat filters~!!!!!!!!!!!!

    It's such a nuisance. It's complete vague and generalized. You can either have -nothing- show and miss every tp move/spell by an enemy, or turn off EVERYTHING and have to filter yourself, and miss it anyway.

    Where's the middle ground. With devastating moves like Akvan's deathly glare for example... it would be GREATLY appreciated.

    seperation of thf's proc for TH from the combat screen would be nice... as it stands i have to turn on damage infor on my chat text to see it confirm the stack level, i prefer to see the damage on the screen above the monster and me and friends but i can't do that bwithout sacrificing my ability to know what stack im on!

    Yep. chat filters are utterly ridiculous. There needs to be more categories and less generalizatrion. Right now we have,for example: special actions started on/by foes. How about special actions started on foes, and special actions started by foes? That would actually make filters easier to handle, if only you separated that one single category and nothing else.
