Yeah... I'm a web developer. There's no need for this. They have it set to 910px width and aligned to the left. At least center it...
To be honest, I find overly-long lines of text more difficult to follow when it comes time to go onto the next line, but to each their own I suppose.
I imagine it has a bit to do with the fixed width of the banner across the top, and everything else aligned by it.
