Obviously don't know much about psychology do you? Remember the tp merit parties that were always going on? Getting to chain 500+ always seemed like a huge achievement and people stayed to achieve that whether they needed to or not just because they didn't want to break the chain and they weren't guessing how many they had killed. They had a visual display of the increased exp and the chain increasing. I really miss that to be honest even though it makes sense to not have that in abyssea (due to the chain being off the scale after a few hours). To actually have it shown on your screen how much you got, together with the chain which already exists would, I think, give people more incentive to stay in exp parties or party in different locations.

I think this would make a great addition to the new expansion because it would give people more incentive to search out exp camps again and explore the new region in greater depth. Although SE may have already thought of that and developed a new system to promote exploration, who knows!
