I guess if you had a big enough Memory Card for storage, it could be done. The Processor, Memory, and Graphics specs are acceptable.

Getting Nintendo to make it cross-console might be tough. But it'd be fun if it was.

Could probably be done without any additional memory cards. The console utilizes discs that fit up to 25 GB, so all current expansions plus adoulin could be stored on one disc. The console comes with 8 GB or 32GB if you have the premium version. The console could load music and stages from the disc, and use a few gigabytes of internal memory to cache gear and mobs dynamically based on what the player most commonly bumps into, as well as some space reserved for future updates.

In case of the 32GB model, it would be easy to fit a full install in the internal memory. In case the game ends up eventually needing more space than the basic 8 GB models had available, you could be required to get a memory card later, perhaps.

Although I'd much rather they just dropped PS2 support and released it as a downloadable title for the PS3. Of course, that will never happen.

I'd rather they dropped PS2 support and didn't release it for either PS3 or this.

If an online ff mmo should go to the wii U, it would likely be A Realm Reborn. Imo, Seekers of Adoulin will have one last chance to impress me in this game.

It would be far, far more than capable of running the game (the specs are plenty good enough for FFXIV), but I find it extremely unlikely that the game is going to be added to any new platforms beyond what it has now.

As far as storage, note also that you can use external storage (the only problem is you're required to format the drive for the specific console, and can't then use it with a PC or any other wii U console without reformatting.

Only if we get reborn like XIV

Look at xi like an old couch. We have had it for years, we spend lots of time on it even though its not as comfortable as it used to be. There are a few holes here and there that SE comes in to stitch up, even if it perturbs up for a bit. They no longer sell it in stores as the material and pattern just are not appealing to any new, just us. Some people will stop by and visit but no one really stays, they choose the new comfy recliner instead. Our hopes for a reupholster are just a fantasy and even though SE will give us a new throw pillow they will never put the money into getting this old couch on display again. But as long as we pay to lounge on it, SE will make us comforable enough.

I don't really want a FF11-reborn. At most, I'd want a game/graphics engine update to support high end cards and all the graphical awesomeness you can squeeze out of them.

lol. sorry I had to laugh. But where would you stick all the update and the update patches? Or would you have to then buy a patched 'disc' everytime there's a patch? Or just install everything on the console's memory and just not run any other game???

I rather they not look into any more new platform and instead fix all the things that are already been identified and fix and/or release. Making macros that have more than 6 lines WORK on PS2/XBOX so everyone can have that. And much much more.
