    How to craft

    See im a little lost I personally want to fish/cook and make cloth I fished alot yet my "fishing skill isn't going hope " so how do i level up past amateur in this crafting skill i read on wiki/ torturle yet it was no help at all Like really i cant join the guild because im a amateur... so that made wiki make no sense.

    Sign up for the guild by talking to the guild master, then turn in the guild test item they're looking for.

    Assuming Cooking, the Guild Master is Piketo-Puketo (Windurst Waters North D-9), and the guild test item is Salmon Sub Sandwich.

    well i read that but when i tried to sign up for fishing or weaving it said i couldn't because I'm not a novice.

    That's for guild points. You need to talk to the Guild Master, not the guild point NPC.
