Trail Cookies???

So the new proto waypoint quests are showering us with trail cookies but it seems no one has been able to figure out what they actually do.

Testing has shown that they give no stat bonues, no combat skill bonuses, no attack or defense bonus, and no movement speed bonus.

Has anyone been able to figure out what they actually do?

Something to note they don't always give you something in return. Odds seem different per one I think. The text you get giving it to them is rather amusing too especially the tarus lol. Also they all stack except for the soda.

Rabao- Campfire chocolate- 12/21 trade in - +1 mnd 30 min
Mhaura- Cascade candy - 10/11 trade in - +4mnd/chr 30 min
Norg - Smoked Mackerel - 6/9 trade in - +4 agi -3 vit 30 min
Selbina - Frontier soda - 5/6 trade in - only gave me regain not regen... but yeah .5 tp a tic for 2 minutes for total of 20 tp

Also I didn't look for invisible stats like hmp or store tp or whatever just what I could see on the equipment list
