Trial Account Limitation

Recently I have had several friends obtain 14 day trial accounts.
They were very excited to play, and then we learned that they could not talk to each other in /tell and they cannot form parties with each other. This means to play in a party a normal member has to form the party for them. To add insult to injury they cannot use their mog safe. This annoys me as a player, mainly because how are we as players suppose to help and encourage these new players to play the game when they can't even do the most basic actions.
I implore SE to remove some of these restrictions. The main restrictions and I think should be removed are the restrictions on /tell and forming of parties. I am not always online to make a party for my friends who are currently on a free trial. I understand that some of the restrictions are in place to hinder RMT, but at the same time it detracts from a major part of making new friends or starting the game on trial with a group of friends at the same time. So basically if these 4 people did not already have a friend who played FFXI they could not even /tell each other and make a party together, it is very sad. PLEASE fix this SE.

Yeah, the trial accounts are way too limited to actually make people want to keep trying the game out.

The accounts should be allowed to form parties, initiate and receive trades(*), let them /tell anyone who is in the same linkshell as them, and also everyone who have added them to their friend list. If they aren't, they should also be allowed to join linkshells. I see no reason why the mog safe shouldn't be usable either. That's a bit ridiculous.

(*)Limit trades to a certain amount of gil/items per day, flag trial accounts for closer inspection if items on a "watchlist" is traded to them several times in short succession. Perhaps trades should be disabled between characters that are both less than three months old.

SE practically gives away 30day codes on the holiday. For instance Amazon.com had the ultimate collection with all codes on sale for $5 on black Friday. There is a $10 sale almost every weekend. If you really want a friend to join this game don't torture them with a limited account. Spend a few bucks, a very high of percentage of the people who get fully unlocked accounts don't stay long either maybe that's why you haven't invested money.

Basically, if you want friends to join, I suggest being a good friend and going the extra mile. These friends will need your full support and an unlimited account if you seriously intend them to stay.

The reason trials are limited is because they are free. (You get what you pay for). They're also restricted because massive abuse in the past by RMTs cheaters etc. You must not remember the massive RMT trial spamming, the full time money game creation deletion game, the fisher bot farms or the gardening nerfs.
