I said it's a starting point and can all be bought. Plus the dux gear has a lot of str/atk, vit, and acc on top of the -pdt. All of those are helpful while soloing. There are better choices such as the brego gloves/helm, the calmecac trousers, and erudus' leggings (which is most of the set i use) but as a starting point that is not cheap but still cost effective and extremely easy to obtain, they work.
