ok i apparently missed it said its only in new salvage. all i saw were posts just talking about new salvage (which doesnt negate old salvages inclusion in my mind). Thank you for the info.

Salvage II doesn't eliminate the need for Salvage I completely; if you want to +1 a piece you must have the NQ to begin with, and none of the old gear drops in Salvage II.
