Simply put, throwing skill seems to be useless as a skill right now. What if there was a job that specializes in throwing things? Even have weapon skills dedicated to throwing?
Would give more reason to have those boomerangs, chakrams and bomb arms, don't you think?

ninja specialize in throwing things. shuriken are extremely powerful, but painfully expensive. but throwing never got a WS

03-20-2011 04:58 AM #4Maybe they are, but after playing this game since it's release on the PC, I have never seen a Ninja throw anything, shurikens or otherwise. Not even for pulling.

Most Ninjas opt for permanent ammo equipment to boost their parameters (like most jobs), rather than consumable ammo to further deal damage. It's a shame, given the original intent of the skill.

there is no feasibly obtainable shuriken at level 75.
there is no feasibly obtainable shuriken period. all of it is vastly expensive. also throwing god dorps at other gods(0)

that being said, out of faith i actually have a throwing set for ninja, hoping someday to use it for something not throwing

I like throwing on dnc. It is actually useful and cheap with boomerang. My skill on it is low but its really not hard to kill up. Or at least thats what it seems like now. Maybe lots harder at higher levels.
