Here's An Insane Idea

Really probably wouldn't work but I still thing it would be fun.

At level 99, Blu gets Unleash. It would be a timed ability where the player looses complete control of the character, not unlike Charm, and transforms into a Psychflayer, including how the player appears. All spells are accessible, to the what now has become an NPC, and will be used randomly. The weighted possibility of spell use will be on offensive, high level spells and will get a significant boost. The player will also get a boost against enfeeblements and will become untargetable by any PC. And now the part people will really hate. After all current enemies are defeated, if they are defeated, the player will become targetable to PC's and will turn on anyone who is, or was, in the party when the transformation took place as well as any other PC who acts upon him.

Anyway, it won't happen. But, just an idea that is based upon the storyline of the Blue Mage. And something that would be hella funny to see if the player wipes his party after the enemy is defeated.

p.s. - At the conclusion of the ability, the Blu would drop to the ground, knocked out.

The latter portion would have been a far more interesting side-effect for using a brew.
