Remember Tenzen from CoP? He has phoenix in his sword... Well he is from the west, and can Adoulin be were Tenzens from? If so maybe there will be a way to summon Phoenix?

Given that the first step to summoning Phoenix would be the Development Bros finishing up Cait Sith and starting work on Phoenix as an avatar, and that new avatars apparently require a ridiculously ridiculous amount of development time based on Cait Sith's repeated delays; I'd say it's unlikely that any new avatar is going to just explode from FFXI's chest unexpectedly like an alien that can only tear Bishop in half once every 45 seconds.

Also, Tenzen is from...somewhere else. I'm too high on Lortab to remember where, if he ever even said anything specific than a cardinal direction, but it's a different region than Adoulin. All sources indicate that Tenzen is from Fantasy Asia with an order of extra emptiness and a side of war. Adoulin seems more like Fantasy Precolonial/Early Colonial Americas with no emptiness or war at all.
