/autotarget on/off status is kept even when you log out/shutdown.

Instead, ask them to make /blockhelp state permanent (forcing you to disable it with the command if you should to) instead of putting a undesirable option at the configuration tool.

I'd like to keep it off, I'm a controller + keyboard (typing) player the mouse and keyboard are only used for rare features. A config option is better because making it auto-on will just create the reverse issue for people who don't want it auto on.

I play exactly the same way as you do. And I feel that having the command keep the status is better (actually perfect) as it's not something like /blockaid where it disabling automatically when you disband from a PT, die or log out actually makes sense.

It only matters if the permanent is start up what I left it at. If it always starts on or off after users set it up and resets to a default no.. If I set it and forget it yes.

Well, that's how autotarget works. You set it on or off and forget.

Honestly best if they do both, if there's a menu option people who are returning to the game would actually be aware of its existence without needing someone to tell them about it.
