Could Time Mage have worked in FFXI?

I am bored at the moment and have been thinking about this lately. Could Time Mage have worked in FFXI?

Time Magic has been a staple in the Final Fantasy series for pretty much ever. As stated in the above image Time Mages grant advantages to their allies, filling the roles of buffing, debuffing and damage much like RDM, SMN and SCH. On FFXI, Time magic is spread across multiple mage jobs.

    Haste
    Slow, Slow II
    Bind / Immobolize
    Teleport and Warp spells
    Silence and Mute
    Gravity, Gravity II
    Comet and Meteor

Other Time Magic spells not available to jobs in FFXI include:

    Stop
    Demi
    Old
    Hastega
    Slowga
    Graviga
    Reflect
    Float
    Quick

When Wings of the Goddess was announced and was revealed to take place in the past, I immediately thought Time Mage was going to be added. But we know how that turned out.

Anyway, do you think Time Mage would work in FFXI? I can imagine some people's reasons being that it would discredit Red Mage and that all Time spells are already distributed among other jobs. But if Time Mage was to be implemented, do you see it having a pivotal role inside of parties and alliances?

This is an idea of how I think the Time Mage spell list would look like.

Lv.1 Demi [Deals non-elemental damage based on the enemy's maximum HP]
    Lv.5 Bind
    Lv.8 Slow
    Lv.11 Silence
