    Ya the concept of bst without a pet is a pretty awesome one. I'd rather see mimic or something though. Unlockable through obtaining 75 or 60+ in all jobs. Something like skills across the board of B-/C+ so that it isn't overpowered. That way, when you mimic Freeze or something you aren't dropping nukes at 1500 a pop. closer to something like 1kish. Still viable, but not to the point they make or break a mob. Then have the mimicry last on a single character for 1 min then 2 min recast and use h2h/sword as melee in the meantime. Idk. Something I kinda was thinking. Would be pretty hard to implement a new job at this point though. Plus, The other benefit with the requirements would be everyone couldn't spam it. Only those who have everything leveled.

    Actualy changing the players model during forms would be nearly un-implementable(Yes I am awake of costume effects.). They could be more easily represented by auras or something similar.

    Think of the feral pact menu like the pet menu, it's empty until you have something out. Likewise, when you activate one of your feral forms, this menu will then have the form apropriate actions.

    It was planned more on the concept of something more akin to berserk, if you're raging, you're not likely to be able to comprehend the intricacies of a sword which is why I left it to H2H only. B or C skills may be a little extreme too because while a form is active, their value is increased based off of your Fearl Magic Skill. B+B mod=too high and feral magic needs to be higher on it's own to proporly effect feral pacts.

    OK, let me break this down a bit for you to understand, since this seems a little hard for you.

    Feral Pacts = You use a TP move based on the form you're in. Ready/Sic = You use a TP move based on the pet you have out. You know what that is? That's a BST's pet without the BST, with Call Beast on a 1 minute cooldown.

    Forms = different abilities augmented based on each form. Three words: Blue magic traits.

    Mob TP moves used at an MP cost = BLUE MAGIC.

    How is this NOT a Blue Mage/Beastmaster hybrid, I mean, seriously?

    I applaud the OP for trying an interesting idea, but it's been done.

    Maybe you should facepalm harder, perhaps make that palm a fist, to knock some sense into yourself. You called the job just another Blue Mage. I told him to remove the mp. You then called it another Beastmaster. Thus surmising that you believe the difference between beastmaster and blue is mage, is that blue mage has mp. Which is idiotic, as was that post.

    ^ This. Sounds like a DnD druid rip off. If a new job were implemented, I would prefer something that was left out of one of the olderjob oriented FFs like FFT FFIII or FFV. Like Time Mages, or Geomancers... Geomancers would be freaking awesome.
