More often then not, if you're looking to level a job that's 30+, you're the one that'll need to build the party yourself. The recent nerfs have had nothing to do what-so-ever on the frequency of abyssea parties unless you're joining RMT leechs.(Who are too stupid to understand that half the money for cruor is still money. lol)
Here's the way you do it. Go in and find a party on some pointless melee job that wont be the core of the party under the pretence of meriting. Once you're "full," you go back to town to "spend them" and then swap out to the job you want to level. 85% of the time, no one notices and/or cares. Keep in mind that the current state of the party matters. If it's slow, a missing DD will be more appearant. It's you're "higher level," say 65+, just go and attack whatever everyone else is attacking so you look like you're doing something.
