Notorious Monster Xolotl bug

Steps: Myself and one other party member were killing Xolotl when it began using Gala Macabre over and over again without needing to build TP for it. It would cast one spell between usages, then immediately ready Gala Macabre. Both Xolotl's Sacrifice and Xolotl's Hound Warrior had been summoned and had not been killed. Xolotl was not silenced and had already used Blood Weapon earlier (although I do not believe it was still in effect). It's HP was fairly low, about 25-30% or so. It used Danse Macabre on me, then right afterwards used Gala Macabre on the other party member without needing TP. Later after we came back the next night to try killing it again, it did the same thing, but eventually snapped out of it for unknown reasons--it eventually started using TP moves besides Gala Macabre, and started having to build TP to use them. I did some research into this monster's behavior online, and there was only one other report of the same thing happening--most posts reported a mostly straightforward fight with only the occasional charm. That's why I suspect this was not planned.
