my blm blizzajas for 8k and blizz 5 for 7.5k+ in abyssea. A 4th atma would be nonsense.

Honestly, saying that it would make it even easier doesn't make a lot of sense to me. A fourth atma wouldn't make it much easier than it already is. I guess it'd make some of the fights go faster though. Most of the stuff I can think of that can actually get you killed in Abyssea is because they're percentage based attacks (throat stabs), doom, or impossibly powerful attacks (???? Needles).
Thing is, I would like them to revisit the whole atma idea again applied in a different way someday. Forcing players to think about which atmas to take (Ex: Taking Earth Wyrm + That one Deelgeed Atma VS Tunga, etc) can actually allow players to think of multiple ways of tackling an NM. It's mostly the difficulty that would need monitoring which was what Abyssea lacked a lot of the time. They gave us a list of something like a hundred atma, and only maybe 20 of them have ever seen any use in one way or another outside of player testing.

It would let you equip your three usual DPS atmas as normally, and then you'd still have room for another powerful defensive atma. If your healer can pay even less attention to your hp and status effects than before, that's kind of what the word "easier" means.
Alternatively, if you just went for four dps atmas, where you earlier had to choose between three of aoa, ss, gh and rr, you now no longer need to. You can always get the hp boost of ss, and the agi+counter boost of gh, making you both kill faster and die slower than before.
It wouldn't change the 20 out of 100 atmas issues at all, anyway. The terrible atmas will still be terrible and never used. People would just pick 4 of the 20 good ones at a time instead of 3.
The thing is you can already blow through abyssea content and if anything is to hard you just have to brew.
Turn atma of the savior into an abyssite. Nice well rounded 4th and reward for doing it all without being totally over done.
I really like this idea, actually. Atma of the saviour is a pretty crappy reward for doing all the abyssea stuff. But having as an abyssite would be great.
Oh yeah, I wasn't saying this idea would change it, it was just a general statement. It wouldn't change the 20 out of 100 atmas issues at all, anyway. The terrible atmas will still be terrible and never used. People would just pick 4 of the 20 good ones at a time instead of 3.

4th atma reward to those that have completed all aby quests, ops. And acquired all abysites and atmas (normal and synthetic). (100% storyline completion up to the release of aby) Might encourage ppl do finish content'
