    Some help would be great :)

    So I'm trying to help my brother get back in the game, last he ever played was before the update that requires users to link their POL account to the Square Enix accounts. He originally got the Ultimate Abyssea from Impulse the gamestop virtual store. after he created his SE account and tried to link the accounts it gave him an error that his POL ID could be transferred and to contact support. Is the linking process different if the game was bought from Impulse?

    There might be two reasons why you would be unable to complete the transfer process: 1) The PlayOnline ID is already linked to another Square Enix ID but has not yet been transferred. 2) There are past due fees on the PlayOnline ID which must be paid off before you can complete the process. If you are still receiving this error go ahead and contact our support center so that they can verify the ID with him and get you set on the right path to getting this account transferred and reactivated
