While we appreciate you reporting this for your friend, it may be best if your friend reported this due to the amount of specific detail that would help in submitting this report.

In particular, knowing the job levels in question, party/buff makeups during the trials, gear that was used during the testing, monsters that were attacked, and and merits the character has applied will ensure that a report can be submitted for accurate investigation.

I have seen plenty of 4-hit attack rounds with Mercurial Sword, but I've always been on WAR with lots of Double Attack so it's a little harder to interpret.

It's an old video, so you can see this isn't exactly a new issue. Watch his TP return (9.4*5=47 off the initial round) to convince yourself that it's actually a 5-hit attack round. Mercurial Sword and Pole have had this issue since they were put into the game. It doesn't really hurt anything, except that you should really change the descriptions to OA2-4 and OA2-5.

Seems that even wiki has the sword listed as occasionally attacking 2-4 times as a hidden effect.

Double and triple attack stack with the mercurial weapons, dagger, great sword, staff, whatever else there is too.
Jailer weapons also work this way.
Ridill, kraken club, octive club and other random multi attack weapons do not work this way.

Actually, it doesn't. Mercurial Kris is a 30/50/20 distribution with 0% quadruple attack regardless what you sub, just like Ridill or Soboro.

Mercurial Sword has been reported to swing 4 times even when the user has 0% DA/TA. Mercurial Pole has been reported to swing 5 times even when the user has 0% DA/TA. It's just an error in the equipment description.
