Genkai 10. Am I screwed?

I just recently came back to FF XI, about aaround a year pause.

Since then, cap has been raised from 95 to 99. I still did not do Genkai 10.

It is impossible to solo. I have been shouting for days for help, but it seems that there is no one under cap anymore, and way too few willing to help. Pretty much all the friends i used to have in-game don't play anymore - that was the reason i quit in the first place.

Am i screwed?

As long as you have a tail. Do you?

the Taru is easy to crush if ya have a tail any MNKx2 can punch him to death even with AH gear

Yeah this is going to be interesting, I have 2 friends I'm helping with this but we don't have the most ideal jobs for it. (I have PLD SMN and WHM, and my friends have BST and RDM ) We will have 3 tails though so I think it's doable.

I haven't heard back from Khory in a while, actually. I hope they didn't give up on the game.

At least a Samurai (and no doubt other damage dealers) is able to pretty much solo this. If not with one tail, two should be way more than enough.

Even I did it for someone with my baaad Samurai and a half-nekkid Warrior, heh! One time without SP abilities ready even but then there was a Summoner or a Monk as a third one... I forget... fun.

In any case, if one has ye olde tail, and one does not get help with this (even without a tail), times sure are looking grim. :[

Got an Extra BST for the fight via shout, so the set up was SMN BST BST RDM with 3 tails = Easy win, although he hit Shasra for 3500 Damage between tails, so Falcorr was the backup. Still Easy win.
