    Incorrect Description of Equipment Properties

The set bonus on the body (NQ, HQ and R/Ex versions):

    Heka's kalasiris
    [Body] All Races
    DEF: 51 MND+17 "Cure" potency +15%
    "Cure" spellcasting time -15%
    Adds "Refresh" effect
    Sphere: Enhances "Fast Cast" effect
    Set: Adds improved "Refresh" effect

Does not match the paired head armor description:

    Nefer khat
    [head] All Races
    DEF:30 MP+20 Magic Accuracy +5
    "Magic Atk. Bonus"+5 Enmity-4
    Set: Adds "Refresh" effect

It would also be easier to just write "Refresh +1" on the armor, and then "Set: Refresh +1" again. In another thread, I saw Okipuit mentioning that they sometimes have issues with fitting all the equipment effects in the description field. I would think "Refresh +1" would take a lot less space than "Adds refresh effect" does.

It'd be "Refresh +2" actually, Nefer+Heka is a 3mp/tic Auto-Refresh. (The body alone is 1/tic, with no refresh from the headpiece alone)

However there are two problems with this:

    1. The headpiece alone offers no refresh, so as a set bonus it needs to match on both pieces; and
    2. Since it's the last line on both armor pieces, and the headpiece uses less total lines, there are no technical issues preventing the line from matching

Aside from the fact that the item description is not incorrect at all, Mirage's idea makes more sense, although I prefer they'd just let it as it is. "Refresh +1" is only used on augmentable gear, which also makes sense considering augmentable stats are determined dynamically.

How are either of these a problem with their suggestion? Maybe I'm misunderstanding it, but the second one in particular does not even seem to be related to what they said.

I'll approach this in two ways.

First, the item description is incorrect as the stated "set bonus" on one piece does not match the description on the accompanying piece. For example:

    Mekira-Oto, ~Oto +1, ~Toshugai, ~Toshuga +1, and Mekira-Meikogai all state "Set: Haste+8%"
Hyksos Khat, ~Khat +1, ~Robe, ~Robe +1, and Anhur Robe all state "Set: Magic Accuracy+5"
    Cuauhtli Headpiece, ~Headpiece +1, ~Harness and ~Harness +1 all state "Set: Haste+8%"
Fazheluo Helm, ~Helm +1, ~Mail, ~Mail +1, and Fazheluo Radiant Mail all state: "Set: 'Double Attack'+5%"

However in the Nefer/Heka set it goes:
    Nefer Khat, ~Khat +1, ~Kalasiris, and ~Kalasiris +1: "Set: Adds "Refresh" effect"
but the Heka's Kalasiris says "Set: Adds improved 'Refresh' effect"

Here's what is happening: The Nefer body and body +1 pieces offer no native refresh. The "Set effect" is 2MP/tic. (This is why "Refresh +1" would not work). The Heka offers the refresh as a native attribute with the set effect being a supplemental bonus. As a result, it is not actually offering an "enhanced refresh effect" but rather combining "Refresh effects" from 2 sources.

    In reality, the Heka's Kalasirs is behaving as such;

    Heka's kalasiris
    [Body] All Races
    DEF: 51 MND+17 "Cure" potency +15%
    "Cure" spellcasting time -15%
    Adds "Refresh" effect
    Sphere: Enhances "Fast Cast" effect
    Set: Adds "Refresh" effect

To the second part of your post:

The "problems" (as I worded it) were "problems with why the suggestions don't match the actual function of the equipment or the mechanics of character limits."

Because the number of characters on the headpiece are significantly less than other pieces, the characters "enhanced" would not alter the other armor pieces; alternatively, removing "enhanced" from the Heka's Kalasiris would not push any item beyond this mentioned issues.

    =====

    In summary:

The crafted body offers no refresh effect alone, nor does the crafted head alone.
The set effect is either "Refresh effect" (some pieces state "refresh effect" without stating 1- or 2mp/tic) -or- "Set: Refresh +2" because the set effect in this case is 2MP/tic.
The "enhanced" Refresh effect on the Heka body is not actually enhanced. You're still only getting 2MP/tic from the set, and the 1MP/tic refresh that is added is from the VW body which does not appear on the crafted version.

So, either the Nefer pieces should change to say "Set: Adds enhanced 'Refresh' effect" or the Heka's Kalasiris should be changed to say "Adds 'Refresh' effect; Set: Adds 'Refresh' effect".

That was my mistake, I didn't even realize Heka's said "improved" Refresh effect, I thought you wanted it to say that. In that case, I agree, and like I said before I think it should simply state "Adds "Refresh" effect".

    Llana_Virren,

Thanks for bringing this to our attention.

The offending "improved" has been deleted from Heka's kalasiris' help text and the change will be reflected in-game when the next version update is implemented.

    I apologize for the discrepancy.
