    Building a new computer

    I'm about to finish my new computer and I want to continue playing FFXI. I downloaded the Ultimate collection from the digital download page. Do I have to pay for a new copy of the game to get a copy for my new computer. Also is there a way to transfer everything over to my new computer with out downloading a new copy.

    Pretty sure you just need the play online id and password from your account, definite no on buying another set of reg codes... And you can save your macros to the server VIA the character selection screen, i um, dont remember how though, but am sure someone will explain a bit better soon.

    I guess the question i am asking is how do i redownload the game with all the xpacs with out paying forthe game again.

    If you downloaded the UC DLC version, you have everything in one package. That should contain all the original expansions (CoP, WotG, etc.). Everything else needed for the add-ons (ASA, Abysses, etc.) is downloaded with the updates.

    If you in some way or another would happen to "find" a copy of the game, you could install this and continue using your existing account just like before, with no additional costs.
