The playonline loop

Yeah, this is kinda annoying. You can't realistically use playonline without being logged in, so in the case of a logout from disconnections, POL should just instantly display the password-input field, and if we press cancel there, we should just be returned to the very first POL screen where you select an account.

Additionally, there should be a feature to automatically go directly to FF11 upon a successful login. No in-between screens anywhere, just straight to the game, with *at most* a pause at the "watch out for unauthorized access" warning before the game starts. This is something you should be able to toggle on or off in the settings, of course.

Outside Japan, there really is no other thing you could possibly play via POL than FF11 (No, you tetramaster players don't count!), so I really think the amount of fluff, pretty-but-slow screen transitions and all that other bling bling should be skippable by those who simply want to:

Enter password.
Select character.
Play FF11.

I mean I know that SE likes things to be pretty, but if you're having a Bad Internet Day with frequent disconnects, having to go through all that stuff several times an hour is just really really infuriating. It gives me an urge to punch the POL window and the only thing that's stopping me is that my monitor cost me 400 dollars.
