As someone who spends most of his gametime within my Mog House, I am all for any update that makes them more enjoyable to be in. Interactive furniture is a great idea imo, even if it was simple things like opening/closing doors on cabinets or turning lamps on/off with a button press. And the idea of being able to alter the color of walls and rugs is just great, it would be wonderful to get a new carpet in my MH, the one I currently have is just filthy from the years of parties my Moogle has thrown in my place without my knowledge!

Also, two other changes I would love to see (because I don't feel they're worth their own topics) would be the addition a Displayed Furniture only storage option to allow us to use our Mog Safes to their full effect despite the amount of furniture we choose to display in our houses(During the Decorating contest I had upwards of 65+ pieces of furniture in my Safe, effectively making it useless for actual storage). And secondly, turning the Moogle into a 2x2 moveable-but-not-removable object while granting us the ability to place furniture in the middle spaces of the floor.

While not as aesthetically pleasing as the OPs ideas, the result of (either of) these two changes would greatly improve the functionality of the current Mog Houses.
