Did you know that the original name for FFIV was FFXI HD? lol
Xbox 360 limitations.
I went there.
I will have my revenge!
Tsukino READ OR I STAB YOU!!!! i said whole new game in my post XD
Everyone over @ XIV wants XI-2, including myself.
all of you need to read i said make a new FFXI like an FFXI-2 or something lol
I think it would be awesome FFXIV graphics FFXI gameplay <333333333333333 IM IN LOVE~!
I have not and will not touch XIV until the game is "ready to go". The main reason for this is that I don't want my first impression of the game to be negative. I think if I wait until more of the problems surrounding it are addressed I might have an adequate replacement for FFXI.
That being said, I would be more than happy to start all over in a FFXI remake or "sequel". FFXI would be absolutely amazing with updated graphics, more room to add content ect.. It would imo be a much easier project and profitable considering it's already established fan base. SE could keep all of the successful parts of XI and address some the of limitations in a new game. Add more jobs, abilities, areas (possibly the same world as XI but expanded).
I'm sure some people would say that most of this could be accomplished via another expansion, which is partially true, but things like PS2 limitations, graphics ect.. could not be.
