Steps: I went to the quicksand caves to fight ancient vessel for the mission "The Mithra and the Crystal". The ??? is not there. Cannot complete mission.

Mmmmm.. I'm just guessing you've done the mission on a prior character and are positive your in the right spot? And you stuck around to see if someone else just killed it and it would respawn? (Cuz I remember something similar, and I'm pretty sure the ???is there regardless if your on quest.... Can't be sure, but I think it is. Hope you get it squared away.

yeah, I'm doing it on my mule right now. At first I thought maybe someone had kited it off to fight in a safer place, (although the pop spot is safe already), so I ran through the whole zone looking. Then I tried rezoning a few times. Then I checked the whole map just in case they had moved it in an update that I didn't know about.

Then I called the GM and waited for 3 hours (at the pop spot) only to receive a message from from the GM saying to ask someone for help or look it up on the wiki. Then I shouted every curse that I know at my monitor, turned off the computer and went to work.

I know it's against forum rules to say this, but I really hope that GM get's a parking ticket or a paper cut or something.
