Computer Restart on West Sarutabaruta NPC's

First time posting and first time ever having an issue with FFXI. Been playing on and off for years. Decided to come back after long been away and decided to start my char over from scratch on the Carbuncle server.

Details:
I experienced my issue August 29th, 2012 around 8:30pm PST, I was in the area of West Sarutabaruta when my computer suddenly restarted. It was around the Outpost in the area where this happened. My computer started back up and I logged back into the game. As soon as I was connected and the area reloaded, the computer restarted again.

After guessing it might have been a game error from the sudden restart, I attemped to use the few seconds I had in game before it would recrash, to move away from that area. After several attempts I was able to move away from the outpost and play on my merry way. I needed to cross zones so I walked to yet another issue. The npc to the East Sarutabaruta zone seems to also cause my computer to restart. Got away as well and I am currently playing but i would like this fixed up as to be able to use those Outposts when needed.

Steps:
1. Crashed in zone West Sarutabaruta around Outpost.
2. Computer restarts and relog back into the game.
3. Game loads area and crashes after 2-3 seconds.
4. Relog and restart several times to use seconds to move char away from affected area.
5. Game plays normally if not close to affected areas.

Sent an email out to Tech support (still waiting for a reply and possibly a "Giv Uz yO daIta!" reponce), I wanted to see if anyone has had this issue before. Well, currently. Guess it was an issue over a year ago but many of the posts dont end in a resolution :/ Any info or help is appreciated ^^

*Update*
Same issue occured in Buburimu Peninsula. Soon as I walked in and turned my gaze to the Windurst HP and area banner, my computer restarted. Since I haven't heard from SE yet decided to check files again and roll back my video driver. Rolling back the driver did the trick. I was able to see the NPC in Buburimu. I ventured back to the NPC's in West Sarutabaruta and I no longer have the issue.

Sadly, by rolling back, the smoothness and frame rate has suffered. I'm to have to play with the resolutions again. What a pain. :/ It's a temporary fix until I hear something from SE. Hopefully posts like this will rouse them to look into it.
