Ice Protocrystal - No Menu Options

So my issue is that when I first click the Ice Protocrystal, my POL always crashes and when I log back on despite still having my trial of ice in my inventory when I try to enter the arena again the menu comes up absolutely blank. I've included screenshots below.

I should also note that all other protocrystals have worked perfectly fine for me. This issue only occurred in the Cloister of Frost.

Thank you for posting your concern over getting disconnected when you first click on the Protocrystal and then no menu options showing up. Though this would be more of a Technical Issue. Steps:
1. Enter Cloister of Frost
2. Click on the Ice Protocrystal
3. Sometimes POL crashes
4. If POL crashes I log back on and click on the Ice Protocrystal again
5. Whether POL crashes or not, after clicking on the protocrystal, a menu is brought up but is blank and contains no options to enter the battlefield.

2. Intel HD Graphics Family (came with the Z68XP-UD3 motherboard)

I'm currently playing FFXI on the Intel card because I've had a lot of problems with the game crashing when I use the Radeon.

I just tried again @ ~8:15 pm EST on 8/31/2012

I used the mini fork to warp to the cloister and tried clicking on the protocrystal but again no menu appeared.

This time I tried zoning out to Fei'Yin then zoned back in to the Cloister but when I clicked on the protocrystal this time, I got some strange text in the menu bar reading BluedemonIce Protocrystal0000e=?=<_; (image included below).

Clicking on that text however still does not allow me to enter the battlefield.
