How about adding scrolls of instant warp as temp items in Abyssea and Voidwatch? Would be super useful and would eliminate having to click through menus to get more scrolls.
So, I am smh trying to understand this logic. Instant Repatriation sends one to their home nation. What difference does it make where ones home point is set? I whole heartedly agree that it is extremely easy to get to ones home nation via books or VW tele, but if you are going to give some excuse to say no, at least find an excuse that actually makes sense.
Someone had mentioned speeding up the airship for Jeuno.
That kind of messes with some of the quests and discerning individual.... however I was thinking something along the lines of Final Fantasy 12.
In FFXII when you use the airship, you have the option of taking a private cabin or a luxury cruiser. In the private cabin, you simply go to your destination instantly (sans load time). Luxury Cruiser you can ride it and shop, do a quest, etc. I would imagine they could implement something like this into FFXI.
When you purchase the ticket, it could give you a similar option. Choose the one option and it's the old airship. Choose the new option and after you walk through the door, the game loads and you end up in port Jeuno/Nation where the airship normally docks you.
I think that's an option if you wanted to update the airship.
Pst... Hey, make all Warp, Retrace and Repatriation Scrolls Ex. No Rare properties. Stack up to 12 or 99. Will be a big help when you forget to pick up a new one the instant you use it. Especially when you're in a rush to get somewhere.
Need to make nexus cape easier to use. I know in FF14 you spend points or something to warp to party leaders all the time and the rate at which it regenerates is pretty decent such that you never run out.
Do players even have to walk in 14? I've seen videos of it and there seems to be multiple outposts throughout a zone they can warp to after having visited. They can warp to certain guilds or buildings within the city, they can warp directly to a party leader and then they can warp between cities.
How exactly do you warp directly to the party leader in FF14?
