    Green Magian Moogle

Remember this guy? He's the Magian Moogle solely responsible for enhancing Accessories. Unfortunately though, since his addition into FFXI, he only has one role, to augment those torques to grant job specific /emotes to players. Could we give him an expanded role so that he can enhance and upgrade other accessories as well? Otherwise his purpose seems very limited compared to the hundreds of trials the other two moogles offer. Here's a non exhaustive list of possible accessories this guy could give you trials for:

    Rajas Ring
    Satva Ring
    Tamas Ring
    Abyssal Earring
    Beastly Earring
    Bushinomimi
    Knight's Earring
    Suppanomimi
    Balrahn's Ring
    Ulthalam's Ring
    Jalzahn's Ring
    Relic Accessories(Capes, Belts)
    Empyrean Earrings
    Empyrean Accessories(Ammo,Boomerangs,Torques,Belts,Capes)
    Defending Ring

While I don't agree with all of your suggestions (D. ring is still best in slot for damage resistance, after all), I think many of the quest/mission reward accessories should be upgradable, and definitely those that weren't even that good at 75cap (I'm looking at you, Ulthalam's Ring).

I think the upgrade trials for the various quest reward accessories should revolve around the areas the items came from. Rajas upgrades would be done in CoP zones, Ulthalam's in Aht Urhgan, etc.

Also, it would be nice with a tiny bit of flavor text too. Doesn't have to be much, just a sentence or two explaining why we were going for exactly those items, and not any other random item. While I'm sure the magian system in place now is very efficient for the devs when they want to implement trials en masse, they do feel pretty sterile and mechanical.

D.ring isn't the best any more. you can get 6%P/M/BT on dark rings from aby konsch, and you can get them far, far easier, and have a pair of them, if you're lucky enough.

So 6% is better than 10%?

And about having a pair of them, 6+6% is better than 6+10%?

Ease doesn't change if something is better.

Defending ring is still 10000000% better than a Dark ring at optimal level: 6 PDT 6MDT 6BDT

    As the poster above said:

    6 + 6 = 12%
    6 + 10 = 16%

Also, the chance of actually getting two dark rings with 6/6/6 on them is pretty damned low. Best I've gotten so far is 5P/4M/4spellinterrupt. I've lost count of how many dark rings with 4% or less pdt on that I've thrown away.

By this math, it's strictly only 33.3(repeating, of course)% better.

It is, however, 10000000% more of a pain in the posterior to attain.
