Steal a page from DRG - Apply food effect to pet

I just saw the Lancer plackart +2 trait which adds your food effect to wyvern.

This would be AWESOME for bst, not only for the stat boosting abilities, but really for the wide range of open ended utility. Alot of food does various things. Shucks, I think it would be fun to boost the killer effect on my pet w/ foods such as hobgoblin chocolate.

This would be alot of fun for players. the variety of possible applications alone might bring alot more foot to the AH's as well.

I see bst do a lot of cool stuff, this would be more welcome than eating a pet for ss, me thinks.

Agreed, I'd argue add one for all pet jobs, maybe like they did with the Haste Belt.

Not trying to be negative nancy about it. But i'm thinking a Jug pet is overall more powerful than a DRG wyvern. And while they could get away with doing it with the wyvern the jug pet would probably cause a disturbance in the barance and they'd say no to the idea. would be kind of cool tho.

Maybe balance it out with a shorter duration?

Boo to shorter food duration for BST pets, we already pay through the nose for a chance to do less damage than Perle DDs rolling their faces on the keyboard, let's stop supporting that trend. I don't mind doing less damage than Arthur McDerp, but I'll be damned if I have to pay more to do it.

I wish I could have that effect on the wyvern permanently; like if I have food on and Call Wyvern with the Plackart on, it'll keep the effect. Unfortunately Lancer Plackart+2 is an obsolete DD piece these days.

I like this a lot. But the plackart has to be fulltimed, right? It would be better if it was some kind of merit or trait. Would be a lot of fun.
