Help me out. i cant restart rng af quest

i recently tried to restart af quest to get rng hands. i did all the af quests a long time ago then dropped all gear including the weapon. im now trying to restart it. the npc at the magic shop will not give me the option to erase my memory and i have all the quests completed in the quest log. im running out of ideas... Can someone tell me what i may be missing? ive checked all inventories as well as the old af storage npc. i have none of the gear anywhere. please if anyone has a idea of what to do, please let me know. thanks

Borghertz's Chasing Hands

you had to get these as well(i think) from coffer chests
Crawlers' Nest: Hunter's Braccae
Monastic Cavern: Hunter's Jerkin

yup i have all of it in completed quests. and im pretty sure i got the 2 pieces from coffer. thats why its so confusing. i guess i have no choice but to go back and do the coffers again but like i said im 99% positive i had gottin all the gear

according to all the info i found you do need to do those as well before it will let you reset it thats why i ask
