    Problem GMs

    i made this post so that SE will take the GMs in account for not providing support that they are intended to. and that as a several year old player this is very concerning.

    basically what is happening is that while adhering to game rules and policies temp bans are happening with out any investigations. for example. a friend was using Frisky sabots, which is a feet item that gives flee effect to pull monsters, and was banned for it. i assume that someone had reported them for using 3rd party tools to increase movement speed which if they were to examine them they would see it was legit. a GM should be aware of game mechanics and do their job before tossing out the ban hammer with out reason.

    the same goes the other ways, 3rd party software is so commonly used its obvious to anyone to who plays this game regularly, and more often then not if you were to report this happening we get fed the same line over and over, "we will investigate".

    so, in turn i contacted a GM in game to report that i be contacted by a SGM to report the abuse or lack of in game by GMs. now going on 2 hours without being contacted, and after asking why it takes so long or if there is some one else to talk to about this issue, i am now being ignored by the help desk service to contact a GM.

    So, SE i ask you this question with all seriousness from a long time player that loves the game and hates to see this happening. i am told to wait for a SGM to contact me some time and go on with "normal play", whats normal play if 3rd party programs are so common and GMs arent or wont do anything about it or ban those aren't using them with out cause?

    maybe in all of these updates and additions to the game, maybe the GMs, who are supposed to help and assist players can be updated also?

    i got a 2 day ban for foul language after an alliance came into abby and stole my pull then started making fun of me. now i did lose my cool no doubt about it but the LS doing these things to me and others got away with no probs. so what i'm saying here is don't expect to much from GM's in game they don't always do the right thing.

    Hsingyi, i know how you feel. I have seen people get Banned for multiple reason, and i am pretty sure you did too.
    Next time something happens like that again for your fleeing boot friend. ask a GM to look into the matter. They can look
    in peoples inventory then they can investigate further.

    3rd party program will be more common for now, imagine that maybee 50% of players use 3rd party. and mybe 26,000 people play. if they would ban, suspend or kick players out of the game. maybe they could loose millions of dollars.
    They will get the obvious ones, and dont forget most addicted players has not 1 not 2 characters, but 3~6 character that they use at the same time. they pay 3~6 time what you are playing they are a better customer than you and i. That's all there is too it. in the end money is important. Most 3rd party program user, actually bought themselves a golden ticket.

    I got a warning on my account because I got pissed at some jackasses appearing out of nowhere to fell cleave the 10 mandies I collected with Diaga, so next pull I called for help on each on and apparently 'stole' a yellow mob that was agrod by a ranged attack by an automaton belonging to that same group of jackasses, killing them with Blaze Spikes and regular melee. Only did that on a single pull. With plenty of mobs left of them to kill.
    I've never seen a GM respond that fast, so I can only assume some GMs are not fair and impartial when their 'friends' are inconvenienced...
    Good luck trying to complain about it though... Customer Support tells you to contact ingame GMs, ingame GMs send you an auto-reply to contact CS...

    I feel your pain, I've already had issues where it took five or more help desk request to get a Live GM. The service isn't there all the time. It seems most of the GMs lack understanding of the game concepts and design. Customer support has been horrible at dealing with issues when I've contacted them. They seem almost disconnected sometimes totally wrong needed assistance. Finally, there is a poor support schedule. With a game that is live 24/7 there should be 24/7 support.

    I'm one of the lucky few that has had good experiences with GMs because I have almost no experience with GMs.

    The online chat folk, on the other hand, have been generally useless. I presented the same problem to three of them and got three different curt responses to it. After trying to follow up on all three I realized that they were all wrong and had to go fix the problem myself with their third party payment processor. Maybe the billing department should talk to the support guys a little.
