i made this post so that SE will take the GMs in account for not providing support that they are intended to. and that as a several year old player this is very concerning.
basically what is happening is that while adhering to game rules and policies temp bans are happening with out any investigations. for example. a friend was using Frisky sabots, which is a feet item that gives flee effect to pull monsters, and was banned for it. i assume that someone had reported them for using 3rd party tools to increase movement speed which if they were to examine them they would see it was legit. a GM should be aware of game mechanics and do their job before tossing out the ban hammer with out reason.
the same goes the other ways, 3rd party software is so commonly used its obvious to anyone to who plays this game regularly, and more often then not if you were to report this happening we get fed the same line over and over, "we will investigate".
so, in turn i contacted a GM in game to report that i be contacted by a SGM to report the abuse or lack of in game by GMs. now going on 2 hours without being contacted, and after asking why it takes so long or if there is some one else to talk to about this issue, i am now being ignored by the help desk service to contact a GM.
So, SE i ask you this question with all seriousness from a long time player that loves the game and hates to see this happening. i am told to wait for a SGM to contact me some time and go on with "normal play", whats normal play if 3rd party programs are so common and GMs arent or wont do anything about it or ban those aren't using them with out cause?
maybe in all of these updates and additions to the game, maybe the GMs, who are supposed to help and assist players can be updated also?
