The beret doesnt exist, go to in game mangers, but they not arround your screwed!

I treid calling support as the in game mangers are not available to help.
I tried again, they cannot help me! Back to SE Support!
Go to in GAme managers, baCK TO GAME, GO TO SUPPORT, BACK TO SUPPORT....
This catch 22...

Sub cancelled I got 1 month left I have wasted £20 od in this stupid game....

BE WARNED..the BERET problem (for steam users is not resolved...) The POL is rubbish and doesnt work, you have to update it.

So I have to try another month in game managers....this is bent....

I have had enough, why oh why did I buy it on Steam? I should have resisted I knew it...I regret it, I chucked £20+ away.....

On the day my free trial runs out they charge me a month and say my Beret is in game, it is not, so I cancelled the sub, I would rather play FFIV, it has bettr graphics, I am legacy member so get V2 free...

I regret buying FFXI..I really do, I feel so stupid...its easy for devs and game publishers to rip us off on MMO's...

Learnt an exppensive lesson, I hope SE learn that they will lose customers like this...

Sure its helpful but the beret only works up to level 30. And that only takes you maybe 2 days at a slow pace. Unless you're trying to solo to 30. Why are you quitting over something so small?

i understand you're frustration, but like Tikka said, it's quite a small thing to get so upset over. I just got the game, as did my wife. It took us almost an entire day to get the game downloaded to both of our Xbox'. I also tried to get it to work on PC but i have windows 7 and it's a nightmare, they really do need to fix the POL crap or just do away with it but this game is 10 years old dude....

As for the graphics, again 10 years old! But i do not play it for the graphics and i feel sorry for anyone that plays it for anything other than the epic story and boss battles. Again as for the Beret, i got mine, my wife did not get hers, essentially i can't use it without her having one as we want to stay on par, it sucks but it was a free item that i did not buy the expansion for anyways. I got lucky and bought the game when it was on sale for $11.75 on steam. I got two copies for the price of one pretty much.

Anyways, good luck to you if you happen to actually leave.
