i hate to ask this, but where is you get your info about it? I was diagnosed @ 7-8 years old. Been on ritalin from second grade to 12th grade. I didn't like the effect I had it. But most of your info is incorrect. Not all doctors are fully aware of ADD/ADHD. And they stupedly lumped it under one catagory. No 2 people actually have the same symtopms or have the same level of them. You guys twist my words WAY to much. But here is the big thing, taking meds will not make me type better. I also want to ask if you actually had a neurological exam along with the 3-4 page testing as well as cognitive testing. As i repeatedly said doctors just lable ppl with ADD/ADHD. I also read some pamphlets that also gave wrong info about it... Doctoters today do not know much about ADD/ADHD heck some don't even know about SVT...

But why should I be temp ban.... you guys started with me first. You guys gets on my case first... And you guys START the topic first. I didn't bring up my ADD once when I first posted.

Where did I get my info? The DSM-IV. I'm thinking that if any source is going to reliable, it's probably the APA. You've read some pamphlets? That's cute. I've read a couple of the twin studies' journal publications, as well as other publications on ADHD. I'm a psychology major, after all, I live for this stuff (insert lolinternetpsychmajor here). Yes, I did take all of those tests. And no, you're misunderstanding the variation of symptoms. Personal experience differs, but the root cause and the basic symptoms are always close enough to a single type to be identifiable. If every single individual experienced ADHD so differently that none of them could agree on what it does, it would simply be impossible to categorize and diagnose with any degree of accuracy. There are always similarities.

Also, I made the same point about meds not helping your spelling, because they don't do anything for mine. Your ADHD has absolutely nothing to do with your inability to use proper spelling or grammar. That's entirely on you simply being lazy. Your ADHD is not an excuse for typing with your feet, so don't try to use it as such, especially when you have no idea what you're talking about, thanks.
