How about this, I have Predominately Inattentive ADHD (this is the formal name, ADD is not medically correct), and was diagnosed with it when I was 13. It's symptoms are regular, and have continued even to today, 7 years later. I have been on medication to treat it for 7 years (Initially Concerta, then Vyvanse after I turned 18), and said medication works properly. If you have ADHD and do not take your medication, you have no right to use it as a justification for anything, because the proper medication (note that some people only respond to certain medications, and get no benefit from others, so it's something that needs to be tried out with a psychiatrist's assistance) would fix anything caused by being inattentive. Additionally, being inattentive does not, in any way, justify the level of atrociousness present in your grammar and spelling. That you claim to have gotten moderately high grades for your compositional abilities, yet you communicate this poorly, implies that either you're simply lying, that your classes were incredibly easy, or that your teacher was very bad at their job.
That said, spelling and grammar have no impact on whether someone is right or wrong (except when similarly spelled words with opposite meanings are involved, in which case it's an issue of apparent meaning). They do, however, make it incredibly difficult to communicate, because trying to read a post that looks like a 13 year old typed it with their toes causes headaches, and headaches lead to short tempers, which leads to pointless arguments.
Some people argue that "I don't need to be grammatically correct, or spell things correctly, on the internet," because, "I type the way I speak" or "I'm relaxing, and don't want to put any thought into it" however, the former is almost never the case (as can be proven by simply reading most of said posts out loud) and the latter is simply an excuse to be lazy, and not a justifiable argument. Additionally, there is absolutely no reason to be lazy with your spelling, when both Firefox and Chrome have readily available free spellcheck plugins that will point out your spelling mistakes and correct them with a simple click or two. If you're using IE, that probably has one as well, but you should really stop using IE.
yea... no... Yes, ADHD has been shown to be a genetic disorder in the majority of individuals (according to twin studies, anyway), but the general symptoms are the same for everyone. The degree of severity, differs, and which symptoms any given individual case experiences will vary somewhat, but it's not a matter of "every single case is different" or else it would be impossible to properly classify and diagnose it. Besides, ADHD really has absolutely no relation to your inability to properly spell, just your inability to notice that you fucked up your spelling. ADHD is not a fucking justification for terrible communication skills; my own ADHD tends towards the more severe side of the inattentive symptoms, and even if I go a month without my meds, my grammar and spelling are still nearly perfect, even if I can't focus to retain my train of thought for more than 5 seconds. You're just lazy and don't want to admit it, don't use ADHD as crutch, because it makes the rest of us who have it look bad.
That, and people are going to continue attacking your spelling and grammar until you stop typing like a 13 year old kid who's never touched a keyboard before. Seriously, I don't have anything against you, but I cannot read your posts without getting a headache, because they're like reading youtube comments. Get Firefox or Chrome, get a spell check plug in, and then for a few days, before you post something, read it out loud and see how the pacing sounds. It will do wonders for your ability to convey what you're trying to say, and greatly improve how people view you, because poor grammar and spelling severely reduce one's apparent intelligence, regardless of how smart they actually are.
