New Pet: TurbidToloi impressions.

New jug pet was introduced today. Far as I know its a complete surprise.

Family: Pugil ( Bibiki Bay version )
Call Level: 75
Resist: Water
Weakness: Thunder/Ice
HP: ~4900

Abilities:
- Intimidate: Slow. 2 charges.
- Recoil Dive: Damage ( cone-shaped area ). 1 charge
- Water Wall: Defense Boost. 3 charges

Its a pretty big model (for a pugil). Seems to be your standard jug pet, not horrible but nothing really stood out. Recoil Dive dealt 300~700 damage to EPs in abyssea. Intimidate is about 24% Slow. Defense Boost is..... defense boost :/. Seems to have standard WAR job traits. If nothing else at least we have an 'Aquan' pet now (Toad X)
I don't really see people inviting us to fight things like Botulus Rex because we have Amorph Killer + KI but at least the option is there. Hopefully the Devs are just setting the stage for the 'Real' job adjustments.

Its good to know they have at least listened to us. We have been complaining that we don't have an Aquian pet 75+ other then Slippery. I've yet to test the Pugil out myself but Cheers for giving us this unexpected treat SE.

as far as being a secret goes... it was kept rather secret.. except for a blurb on the jp forums giving a hint and a picture shortly ahead of time. ... which unsurprisingly wasn't shared on english forums.
There is also a thread that was quite active on jp side asking for an aquan pet.

I'm sad he lacks Screwdriver, but I'm thankful for a capped aquan pet. I'm eager to try him out.

Basically saying that there was talk about a month ago from dev-talk about a use for abaia. As a follow-up to that talk, they said here's a use and showed the screenshot of the bst w/ new pet.
