You could have easily joined an experience points party in gusgen mines and got the skull that way or just continue to keep leveling until you were high enough to get the skull. A level 30 can solo it easy.
She was doing the one that required the Bloody Robe which drops from Bogys. ^^ Got it though. Skull is for other subjob quest.
