This is apparent in any fights where Aggro is used to "Super Tank" (Meaning, one person mass gathers the enemies, or allows them to attack him without acting on them, So he can't lose hate if people cure him since the enmity is not there). - So in that light, Releasing a pet would give hate to the SMN, when in reality it should not.
