    Why not both? Relevant:

    Option A (Easier)

The easier seeming of the two would be simply making it so players can quest for having multiple Mog House locations. You'd upgrade from having a Rent-a-Room in other cities, meaning that perhaps if you lived in Bastok, you could have another Mog House in Windurst, San d'Oria, Jeuno, Whitegate, and maybe any future cities with Mog Houses we visit in the future.

The way this would happen is by starting with a quest that "moves" you into Jeuno permanently (your home nation would remain the same, but it would now have a rent a room - this would be so you can change nations without worrying about furniture moving or whatever). This quest would probably require having a fully upgraded Mog Safe for progression. After this you'd have to quest a Mog House in each nation separately.

When you get a new Mog House, it has a brand new Mog Safe, and its own Mog Storage (which hopefully by the time this is implemented would be accessible from anywhere) dependent on furniture in your new house, that would be labeled with the city they are in (although you can only change furniture of the city you are in).

Now, for the Moghancements, you'd either get them all (no duplicates) from each of your Mog Houses, or, more likely, you'd have to select a Mog House to provide you with your Moghancement (something you'd probably be able to do inside the Mog House, or have to ask the Mog House NPCs outside your Mog House to do).

I feel this would solve many of the problems Mog Houses have, but you sadly would not be able to have multiple rooms in one house still...

    Option B (Harder)

The harder of the two would be making it so players can upgrade their Mog Houses to have multiple rooms. You'd upgrade from having one room in your house, meaning that perhaps players would have to move somewhere if current Mog Houses aren't upgradeable. The Chocobo Circuit or perhaps somewhere with the new Seekers of Aldouin expansion could possibly be reasonable places for these new Mog Houses to be, although all storage and such would be accessible from old locations.

The way that would happen is by having a quest that upgrades your Mog House from having just one room, with more quests depending on how many rooms you expand to, or alternatively just upgrading the whole thing in one step. The quest would probably require a fully upgraded Mog Safe for progression.

When you get a new room, it would have a new Mog Safe with its own Mog Storage labeled by which room it is. For layout purposes, you'd have to pick which room you want to adjust before adjusting furniture.

For Moghancements, if getting all of them (no duplicates) wouldn't be feasible, you'd pick a room for your Moogle to hang out in, and this would be the room you get the Moghancement from.

Now, this idea still comes with the idea that there would be the no furniture carpeted areas in the center of each room with walls on each side (the House would be in a + pattern, with an intersection in the middle, and the fountain/fireplace/smoke/whatever fixtures at each end), but SE could conceivably go all out with a large room (although this would possibly ignore fixing the Mog Safe/Moghancement problems) or some other layout choice.
Given SE's statement, the first option seems more likely then a floorspace revamp, although the second option might work if they made a new house in the expansion that players could move to.

I'd like to see a mog property. Nothing huge, but definitely give it an outside and an inside. Maybe a pond to fish in, or better yet, put nomad moogles and an AH in the chocobo circuit.

As I stand looking out from my mog house window, I reminisce about the old days and the many ups and downs of my adventures throughout Vana'diel.

It is then that I know achievement.

A potential revamp is great to hear ^_^

A few suggestions off the top of my head:

Goblin Shoerack: Ability to rewatch any cutscene

Smart Autosort: Automatically move equippable items into gobbiebag, sack and satchel. I could see this being extremely useful when leveling new jobs and you may not be used to grabbing the gear you are used to.

First Aid Kit: Ability to set preferred items for particular jobs to auto sort into gobbiebag. Examples would be cards for corsair, ninja tools for Ninja, echo drops for mages, etc.

    Porter Moogle service within moghouse

Mognet Radio: Ability to see shouts and yells from all residential areas while inside Moghouse

And lastly, a rather radical suggestion, linkshell moghouses with linkshell storage slips. It would be fun to have a shared moghouse for linkshells ^_^ The idea for storage would be a linkshell member could trade any non ex item to it, and it could be stored and made available to all linkshell members. When retrieved, it would have a timer (something like 2 hours perhaps?) in which after it expires it will magically be returned to linkshell storage. Would be a nice reward for groups who have fought together tirelessly to obtain such things as kraken clubs to be able to share them. Of course items "augmented" with linkshell storage would not be able to be sold or disposed of.

If the first option, they should give us a place to store only future items. That way we would not have to fill are Mog safe up with future that is in each city. They could also start us out with 30 slots but give us quest to do to get more slots to put more future in.

No offence to the developers, but id be more excited about a mog house renovation, then the new expansion coming out next year...

Any chance the moogles can walk around the house some? Their wings must get really tired...

I'm still waiting for them to allow us access to our storage from mog houses outside our home nation; Something which has been in the works for a year now. Let's try getting that done first instead of adding to a list of things that will never get done in a timely manner.

Would be nice to send stuff to other chars directly from the mog house rather than having to go to the delivery npc.

I'm at the limit for the amount of furniture pieces that can be out on display. What would the chances be of perhaps making it so that if you have a set of event/holiday items (for example, all the Snowmen, or all the Eggs etc) you can turn them into the Moogle to have them turn into a single item (kind of like the Egg Buffet)

It would be nice not to have a delay between opening the delivery box. It's such a pain to wait in between 8 deliveries.
