    Brand new player, to FFXI, and MMOs

    Um, yes, hello everyone XD

    Well, I've never played an MMO before, well, other than the staple Runescape when I was a lot younger XD I never really had an interest to, I guess, and I was a poor kid, so I certainly couldn't afford to play something like FFXI

    Skip backward (Or forward, from the time of my last post) to about a week ago. On a whim, for my 18th birthday, I bought the Abyssea Collection off Steam (3 days before it went on sale -_-) I figured, for $20, I could use that 30 day free trial, and see whether I liked the game or not XD

    And now to the current day, I'm a level 19 Red Mage, currently doing my subjob quest in Mhaura, and really enjoying my time XD I have to say, the community is absolutely wonderful, I really wasn't expecting everyone to be so nice! XD I've had maxed out players cheer me along as I fight, heal and buff me when I accidentally aggro a group of enemies, and just randomly throw heals my way when I'm training, which has made me feel really at ease.

    I'll admit, I joined for the story more than anything else, but I'm really loving the people

    Oh my, I'm rambling @_@

    Anyways, I'm on Ragnarok, and I'd like to thank everyone as a community, for being so awesome to hopeless newbies like me

    The story to this game is fantastic, often heart wrenching in places (yes Prishe you got me). It is an epic adventure you are starting on, uncomparible in my opinion. It has kept me entertained for the better part of 10 years, and shows no signs of stopping now.
