Ok who here has done neo-dynamis and bumped heads with someone else concerning what is good to claim?

Come on. Raise your hands. You know who you are!

Well, I propose we discuss some etiquette, a general guideline for people to follow when farming neo-dynamis. Mind you, this is not law, but a suggested rule of behavior.

It is appropriate to claim a mob in the following situations:
1. If the mob is 100% and unclaimed, and idle or
2. 100% and unclaimed, and agroing another NPC or PC.
3. If the PC that had claim on a mob dies or times out.

Here are some gray areas:
3. If the mob is 100% and unclaimed, and agroing another NPC or PC and the mob was previously proced. If you saw that the mob was proc'ed then the mob should be left alone. If you didn't see that the mob was proc'ed then rule 2 appies. If you're trying to proc a mob it is best to hit it at least once so it's not 100%
4. If there is a claim war then the person who gets claim first gets the mob. No complaining now. You lost fair and square.

Myself I say that TEs, you should team up with others for if they are after them as well. If a mob is idle its up for grabs. If the mob is aggroed onto a player and they do nothing, it is up for grabs. If the mob is being attacked or a player is taking a form of action on them (JAs, Enfeebling, Sleep) they are not up for grabs. If a mob is proced by someone yet yellow, it is not up for grabs. Anything under 100% HP should be left alone unless it is left for no apparent reason without anyone nearby. Meaning if I am fighting a crab, hurt it, notice time change and sleep>leave it, its up for grabs.

This is how I think it should be myself. However the 1 exception to this is BSTs who take 6 mobs or more at 1 time, and think its alright, in this case I consider it hogging mobs and you should be stolen from if you are doing that.

If its unclaimed, it's good to claim. If you can't keep a mob red, and someone else claims it - sucks for you. It's a timed event and watching someone solo 4 mobs, 3 of them unclaimed, while there's nothing else available... yeah, I'm not going to stand and watch you.

TE's repop every 30-60 seconds. How is that even an issue?

Only TE I have a problem with is the random spawn, that is annoying when you find it finally then as you find it, someone kills it right infront of you and you get to run around 5 more minutes searching.
