Now, all those of you who have taken weeks or even longer to get your empyrean weapons through your 4000 kills on lightsday or 4000 WS or 100+ NM kills or the like feel free to voice your complaints at being told you haven't accomplished anything as the relic/mythic holders seem to imply.

Worth noting, and I'm doing it here because I can't be assed to read the hundreds of posts to see if someone else made the point already, is that the difficulty of all of these weapons have declined greatly in the advent of player advancement, be it gear, atma, or raw level correction.

People who had finished level eighty Empyrean weapons at level eighty worked hard, and those fights DID take a pretty large party size. They got easier at eighty-five but by no means were the walk in the park they appear to be now.

Conversely, Dynamis currency is just laborious. Not difficult, just long. Dynamis now is a joke, and the only thing stopping relics from just being pumped out by the buckets is the time limit/entry period.

The important thing to note here is that time will remove most of the oomph of an accomplishment. Maat's Cap. CoP. HNMs. Relics. Difficulty and time-required are not interchangeable; by that logic no one would have a problem with Empyrean weapon being above par if it took five hundred Glavoid shells instead of fifty. I applaud SE for not making the new weapons take two years and the broken backs of linkshells to complete, because let's be honest: Most relics aren't the testament of devoted, hard-working players. They're the trophies of either extremely-tight lowman shells, trophies by the people who took advantage of their shell to get them to farm thousands of drops, or they're the trophies of people who sat on their gil from the huge inflation period that existed before I started playing.
