Is this game still supporting a dial up connections still? or just left over codes?

I once played this game on the ps2 with dial up connections, currently been on xbox 360 version for 5 yrs and I have seen how amazing the game looks on a pc, but last few months game been having lots of swing issues on my end and other xbox users we concluded it dial up stuff causing it and deal with it , but we have not been locking up as much as in the past. Yet alot us have played with people in other countries and we do not seem have the same issues with other xbox games.

also on a side not all this stuff about a ps2 cant run this game or what not is just a joke if your running this game on true broadband 80% of the data now days can be run on the server end just the graphics stuff will only be on the end users side and a few other perks like voice chats and stuff.

Square may not seem to understand it, but they had laid a great foundation for mmos just they seem to let the times get behind them. Gave a underground group of gamers a game they like but unwilling to share with the rest of the world.

Well it is Time to go read a book and look for a party or shout in jueno for a few hours for the next day or week to get something done. Maybe just time to just quit the game like so many others i known in the yrs.

It's still throttled and designed around 56k modem connections.

The netcode itself leaves a bit to be desired though, causing latency for some actions that shouldn't take remotely as long, such as resting.
