But how about giving them an exclusive ability that allowed them to remove the Weakened status effect?

This is almost certainly a stupid idea, as I really don't know enough about RDM. But just a thought, might make it an attractive job, especially for alliances.

The only way Weakness should be removed other than NIN 2-hour is WHM's 2-hour.

RDM needs alot, but it doesn't need this.

RDM had its time and spotlight, and now, its out of it, and to be frank, who was there when the BLMs, PUPs, and BLUs couldn't get a party in ToAU and RDMs monopolized them practically? Nobody. So as far as I'm concerned, RDMs have had this a long time coming and its just time to accept it and wait to see how the next expansion rewards you. Because RDM is destined to be an enfeeble/enhancing job, and that is where it should be. Yet to be more specific to the topic, removing weakness wouldn't be bad, but in all honesty, thats not much of a reason for me to bring a RDM to the party. They need something that makes them potentially worth while because most elitists out there would say "You don't need a RDM, you just need to die less" what they need to do is give a trait or some sort or an ability that avoids enfeeble/elemental resistances and allows RDM specifically to land enfeebles. That or something along those lines will pull the job out of the dirt. Yet with so many wankers out there pulling the job in multiple directions other than what it was actually purposed for (Non-DD), it probably won't see that light of the day for a while. So good luck.

Looking at youtube videos, when geared correctly. RDM still does what it has always done. I've watched RDMs solo the abyssean behemoth. Apamedak and Chloris and many, many other monsters.

Just takes great gear and skill but I've seen it before. True; they have little purpose in updated content but I don't think anyone has solely RDM leveled anymore so that's not a complete issue.

As mentioned jobs like BLM, PUP, BST, BLUs used to never be able to get a spot in a party. And only two of those jobs can still get a spot now.
