    HELP! Character and npcs are all black and flashing.

    anyone seen this or have any idea on fixing this. i called the support number but was a waste of time.

    if things are looking blocky like old 3D style animation, it might be your LOD Bias in your driver settings is gone to the extreme. Some performance tweaks will set this value out in left field for more speed, which is safe when you have a wide range to start with, but FFXI isn't one of those games.

    all the graphics look fine except for characters and npcs.
